Engine Craftsman 15 hp Runs for 15 mins. then just quits running

Hi I have a 2004 Craftsman riding lawn mower model #917272350 It fires up and runs good then about 10 to15 mins it just dyes I let it sit for half hour and runs for another 10 to 15 mins ???? any Ideas???
 
Over heating problem? Maybe a ignition coil going bad? When it dies again, test for spark at the spark plug.
 
I'd betcha $100 to a hole in a doughnut, that it's you're carburetor solenoid. Or what ever that is on the bottom of the bowl. I had one that went bad, and did the same thing yours is doing..

A friend of mine said he was able to do something to an O-ring inside the bowl (where the solenoid) connects, and his runs fine now...

But, I'd stick with replacing that...
 
Briggs or kohler? if briggs its more than likely the coil. most briggs coils will cut out after they reach temp. let them sit and they will start back up. or it could be a fuel tank vent
