hi , my friend has a rider and it stuck in second gear . it starts and moves but only in second gear can you help ? Thanks Dale
 
Does the shifter move or is it also stuck. Could be that the shift linkage is rusted where it goes into the case or maybe a shift key is broke inside.
 
Shift rod were it goes into the tranny is probably rusted and will need a lot of penetrating oil and some force to move it back and forth to free it up.
