Country clipper wrangler 48'

Does any one have one of these? ( Country clipper wrangler 48') I am thinking about pulling the trigger on it was looking at the toro mx5060 but saw this one at my dealer and love the joystick would be sweet to have one hand free whenever I needed it. Mowing about 3-5 acres a week.

I have the little brother to that one, or the previous year model however you look at it. Mine is a 38 inch deck and a 20hp B&S instead of the kohler... but other than paint and graphics I bet they are the same. I love mine, my 1st ztr was a snapper with the joystick. I found out the snapper joystick was designed by the same people that build the country clipper... only country clippers are much heavier duty. Fabbed deck, hiem joints (sp) to the joystick. The snapper had a little easier to finness touch since it was shorter in hight than the Country clipper, but once I got used to the taller stick on the country clipper it was fine. It takes a little practive but pretty soon you will be mowing with iced tea in one hand and steering with the other! I would not even try the dual lapbars after having the joystick. I liked the joystick.. but the thing that sealed the deal was the slideout deck!! Once I saw how easy it was to get the blades out where I could remove em to sharpen them or even to remove wire or something from them I was sold! This is my 2nd year with it and so far it has exceeded expectations.

That is sweet!! How much property do you mow? I am thinking 48' but maybe I will go with the 41 that is offered:/ then If I need to I can get through my moms gate to do hers but I don't want that to be deciding factor.

I thought I had answered this... but apparently not. I mow less than a half acre at my house and 1 acre less the size of house and detached garage at my Dads house. I mulch at my house and take off the mulching cover at my Dads... Mower does great.

That is sweet!! How much property do you mow? I am thinking 48' but maybe I will go with the 41 that is offered:/ then If I need to I can get through my moms gate to do hers but I don't want that to be deciding factor.

half hour at the house, and maybe 1.5 hours at Dad's but his place has lots of obstacles..
