How many cords of wood do you burn a season, if you burn wood. Last year we burned 6 cord, the year before we ran out, we burnt 7 cord. Sometimes our winters are colder than others. Lately we make sure we have extra so we do not run out again.

I only burn in the shop anymore, probably 3-4 cords! My shop is 14' X 24', I have the door open a lot through the winter days, as my stove is too big. :biggrin: Not a problem since I have an "endless" wood supply. ~~ grnspot110
I don't burn wood, but the people I know that do, usually average 7 per year. The old timers are saying they're going to need more than that this year though.
Looks like I will be ordering 4 more cord, just in case, I would rather have too much than not enough, what's left we can use next year, it won't go to waste.
