compression spring troubleshooting

tells me it is compression relief spring bad
Possible
when you turn via hand past top compression the engine will turn over and start, stop engine then it will not go past tdc, new battery. valves readjusted.
There are 2 TDC strokes in a 4 smoke engine. Just stating the obvious. Talking valve adjustments here. One valve open or pushed down into the block/head, adjust the opposite valve. Rotate engine, same recipe for the other valve/s.

Check the valve train again. Look for ACR bump of the intake rocker after verifying the clearances. As mention check rocker studs and verify they torqued to 150 in/lbs.
And the adjustment locks are torqued to 45 in/lbs.

These camshaft ACRs do fail a lot. IF you need a new camshaft don't buy one those Chinese clones as they fail quickly.

Also DL the service manual if you haven't already. Here is my edited version.

have that manual , rocker studs are tight, valves clearance .004 , with plug remove spins no problems , still thinking that is camshaft spring
