This is a Coleman generator with a Subaru / Robin engine. The carb has an adjustment screw on it that doesn't seem to do much. No matter how many times I turn it, it doesn't move. It has a metal bracket screwed in next to it in the empty hole that holds it in place (not visible in the picture that I got from the internet for the same carb). What is this screw? Can it be adjusted? I have a surging problem due to fuel starvation and I've cleaned the living crap out of this thing. It didn't really look very dirty from the start. I can get an aftermarket for fairly short money but like resurrecting the OEM when possible. I've put it through the ultra sonic, hit it with carb cleaner...the wholes are good sized and I feel as if I've hit it pretty good.
Thanks

How does it come out? Do I just pull it out? Or do I need to clean it in place?

should unscrew counter clockwise, sometimes once it gets loose you have to tip the carb to help it out.
