While mowing with Dixon Kodiak ZTR the main belt broke. Something caused it to snap about a 8" piece. Belt has about 8 hours on it. Now blades won't engage when pulling switch. Clutch does not engage.
Any ideas ?

First check connection at backside of PTO switch for corrosion, rust, etc. & for 12 volts with multimeter or test light. Next check 3 windows at PTO clutch for air gap per Operators Manual. Also check plug at PTO harness for 12v.

I have no manuals. switch seems to work. I'll check at PTO for power with switch on.

I have feeling that whatever is wrong broke the belt.
