Walk behind Cleaning Toro Super Recycler Superbagger deck

I have recently just purchased the Toro Super Recycler Superbagger and extremely happy with it. The other super recycler models have a washout port port whereas this model does not. In the manual it says to just stand behind the mower and spray water from the hose in front of the rear right wheel and let the mower and blades run. I tried that and let it run for approx 2 minutes and I don't find it will wash the clippings off the deck well. It seemed to sort of remove the clippings off 1 half of the deck only. How do you guys clean off your decks? I guess this is not as easy as the models with the washout port...

You could try spraying water from the other side and see if that cleans the other side of the deck. Or try spraying water in other places and see if that helps any. One other thing you could do is drill a hole in the deck and weld in a new washout port.Welcome to LMF to.:licking::licking::confused2:

You can take any combination of 1/2" or 3/4" pipe that clears your mower blades, and take a nut found in the conduit section of the electrical department to tighten it all up. No welding necessarily needed. I use a dab of blue loctite on everything after I have test fit my wash nozzels. Ball valves, hose barbs, and more are all available. Best of luck!:smile:

Why don't you just get a scraper and scrape the grass off from underneath ?

i have an electric power washer...cant beat it...just when you tip the mower up...keep the carb on top:thumbsup:

Thanks guys! The day after I rinsed it out all the dry grass on my driveway had to be powerwashed off! I think I'll just wait till I need a gas refuel and I'll scrap it off then. It seems easier that way..
