Cheap leaf removal

As a cheap way to reomove leaves, would a free push leaf/chipper vac. Do the job, or would it take to long? Whats your input?

I don't know exactly what you're talking about, but most of the combo units I saw lacked the power. I could pick up my leaves just as fast with the bagger on my mower as my neighbor could with the Troy-Bilt chipper vac he bought.
