Just bought a 52" Great Dane Super Surfer with a 23 HP Kawasaki motor. There appears to be no difference in Battery voltage before the engine is started and after it is started. The voltage should increase if the alternator is running, I presume.
Any tips ??

Please post the engine model number and I'll get you a procedure for testing the charging system.

I'll have to look for it, I don't recall seeing it.

I'm guessing you have a FH5?? Series engine. This manual should help you out. If I'm wrong post numbers.
