Can you change the horsepower of a 20 hp kohler to 23/24hp by changing the carburater?

Basically no. The 22/23 hp engines uses spark advance which isn't used on the 20. The carb may be the same between the 20 and 22/23 engines. Would require changing the ignition system and the flywheel. There maybe other changes that are not obvious.
