Hi all, I am new to the forum. I purchased a CC AGS 2130 in the fall mainly to bag leaves. Recently I have been having issues starting the machine. I believe it is the oil pressure switch as it seems to start after I add oil, even though the dipstick reads "F". Is this an issue anyone else has seen? I searched the forum and found no discussion on it.

When I turn the key I hear a click and every once in a while if I click it a few times it will start which is why I was wondering if it was possibly the starter or solenoid.

If I jumped a wire between the two terminals on the solenoid would I be able to determine if the solenoid is the problem?

Thanks

Cub Cadet Professional Shop Manuals Check oil on dipstick, level ground, make sure it's on full mark, no more no less. Remove your battery & take it to an auto parts store and have them load test battery at no charge. If battery checks out ok, " hands on " check all wiring and connections for being tight and secure, don't forget ground cables and straps, ignition switch plug as well as all plugs. Let us know what you find.
