Can anyone help? I've got a Briggs & Stratton (Mtd Walk Behind - 11A-02BT706) and when I leave it without use it won't start.

So I remove the carburetor, give a good cleaning to the filter, take apart carburetor and give it gasoline bath and also clean gas tank, gas line and and put it all back in place and the mower starts right away and runs fine for the rest of the day.

Then, when I need it the next weekend the cycle starts all over and I have to go through those same steps.

Any suggestions? Is this the sign of a dying carburetor that I should just replace?

Sounds to me like you need to check your float level. If the unit was seating for a period was seating for an extended period of time with old fuel, it may have swelled the seat causing the float level to drop. Replacing the float needle and seat should help solve the problem. Giving us the engine numbers would give us a better idea of what you are dealing with.
