Near to end of rebuilding my Kohler K141 motor, now find I need a new/replacment fuel union to fit to carb as the original seems to have picked up the aluminum thread and I can't clean the thread, does anyone have a spare?
take union with you when purchasing thread file making sure threads match, or maybe you need a tap & die, a machine shop should be able to repair at a small cost to you. Let us know how it goes, thanks, Mark
Thanks MM, I've got a couple of thread files from years ago which never got used but niether seem to have the match and each has 8 different sides. I'm wondering and pretty sure I'm right the thread has a slight taper so that it ake a good seal, if it might have a fine pipe thread?
