Unless the carburetor is badly damaged due to water in the fuel, I suggest a full rebuild or get a replacement carburetor from Amazon, eBay or Jack's small engine. Don't experiment with a totally different carburetor because they usually don't work as well as an original design.
Amazon shows that carburetor number is similar to others, but they are still a copy of a Nikki carburetor.
An older Walbro carburetor might be adaptable, but it would require modifications to the linkage in many situations.
The key thing to make a Nikki carburetor reliable is to rebuild it using all new seals and replace the jets that come with the O-ring(s) already installed.
Way too many people blame the carburetor after a poor rebuild attempt or bad fuel being used.
