Carb Needle Sleeve(?) Replacement

I have a 121s02-033-F1 engine off a Troy-Bilt pressure washer. Carb rebuild kit came with a replacement sleeve (not sure if that is what it's called) that houses the needle. Have no idea how to switch it out. Haven't seen anything like it before, can't find it in any diagrams, nor in any videos. Thoughts?

Check out page book page 78 or pdf page 81 in this manual for how to remove the insert. how to put it back in is a couple pages later. I use the old insert still attached to the bolt to drive the new insert back into place, because I have had issues with the recommended driver mushrooming the insert causing float needle interference.

Personally if the insert seat isn't damaged and will seal with the new valve I wouldn't mess with the seat insert.

That was helpful. Thank you. Going to leave it in and see if it will run as is. Thanks again.

Found a video that describes the process.

I cut a Q tip in half and chuck it in a drill and put some toothpaste on it and use that to polish the seat. Haven't changed one in years.
