I am looking for assistance on finding the correct belt for my mower as it is starting to drive me nuts. I have a Honda HRR216SDA (serial number# MZCG-7026857). My old belt is probably going on 10 years old and is pretty worn out. The part number I ordered was 22431-VG3-B00 and the belt is much larger than the one that came off the mower. That part number is what every website pulls up when you enter in HRR216SDA as the model number. However, I am noticing that pretty much all of the sites say that the belt is for Honda HRR216SDA and for serial numbers # MZCG-6000001 - MZCG-6299999. I cannot find any that are for my serial number. Has anyone ran into this before or know how I can go about finding the correct drive belt because their is a very clear difference in size between the one on my mower and what I am seeing on all of these repalcement part sites?
Try this belt after you measure your old belt. 22431-VG3-D50. This one measures 33.3”. The belt you ordered should measure 38”.

HRR216K2 SDAA MZCG-6700001-7199999
22431-VG3-D50 V-BELT 3L-33.3
the 22431-VG3-B00 is 3L-38 so it definitely too long.

try what Rivets said. Going to Honda's webpage, they list that lawn mower in the owner's manual section but not in the Parts Section. You may have to call their support number or send them an e-mail if Rivet's suggestion fails. https://powerequipment.honda.com/support/contact-us
