I found this online last year<deleted link>so I filled out the forms & sent them in.
I never expected anything to come of it but maybe a small cheque like $50 Cdn.
Yesterday I got an e-transfer for $254.63 from the trustees!
Ka-ching....

I removed the link. Please explain further the circumstances of how you obtained your settlement. The post looks very much like spam without more explanation.

If you google "Canadian lawn mower settlement" the first google entry will show the website that I had attempted to show with the link.
The website explained the documentation needed to support my claim, and where to send them.
This involve scanning 2 pages from my operating manual, and emailing them as an attachment to the address shown.
I didn't have the sales receipt but that didn't matter, apparently.I did have to report where it was bought.
The deadline has passed.I thought this might be interesting for the forum members as there was a similar U.S. class action suit started about 10 years ago.
