i have a cub cadet rzt50 mower, and the motor trown a rod,so i put a briggs motor on,and can not get it charged,i need to know how to fix this,i have a red and whte coming from under the fly wheel,i hooked up a batt wire to the red,and i dont know where to hook up the white wire, please someone help me with this
You "DON"T connect the red wire to the battery! Your alternator produces AC voltage and your battery is DC voltage. You must have a regulator or a simple diode which allows the current to flow only ONE direction (so the current does not go back from your battery and into your alternator stator) therefore producing synthetic DC voltage. (AC voltage + and - goes both directions)
