Anyone have a HOMEOWNER 20" reel mower?
They were made between 1968 and 2004. I need info. on an early one.

These are mowers sold out West. I guess not to many made it back East.
They only have a max cut of an inch and half tall. That is one days growth
down south!:laughing:

There are uses even up here in the north east besides golf courses. I'm up in NY and use a McLane on my front yard, the yard is heavily shaded by a very large maple tree and only short fine grass grows, the rotary mowers rip the grass right out. Someone ordered a McLane at a local Sears, never bought it and it sat there and kept getting marked down, I ended up buying it for something in the realm of $275. Works like a charm for the purpose, doesn't rip the grass out so I actually have a front lawn.

There are many Mclane reel mowers here also. They make a good produce. I even saw a Mclane reel push mower that does not have a motor.
They make an electric also.
$275.00 was a great price.
