bypass linkage

So....I was mowing (husqvarna MZT61) and got stuck in the mud. Got the truck to pull the mower out and when I went to put the hydrostatic bypass linkages into the bypass position to move the mower, I see that they are already in the bypass position. My question is...Have I damaged my mower by mowing with the bypass locked in the bypass position? Mower has acted okay but I am wondering if damage has been done to my brand new mower.
