I am working on a BS 44 m777 0148b1 that has no spark from either module. I have disconnected the ground wire and still no spark. It just doesn't seem right that both modules should go at the same time?

Sometimes it happens, but also need to watch for a stray voltage leakage from the keyswitch when flipped through the positions or something else shorting voltage to the modules through the kill wire.

I ran across a similar issue ended up changing both coils , turns out it had been running on only one coil for a while and when the only good coil failed , it gave the impression that both coils failed at the same time which would be a strange coincidence .
