Have a Craftsman self propelled mower with a 6.75 hp engine that will run for about 10 seconds when cold then will not start again.
Carburetor is new gaskets are new plenty gas getting to carburetor.
Temperature control for the choke seems free an operational
Spark plug is clean an set to 30/1000.
Any ideas?.

Check to see that the kill lever on the engine and operated by the handlebar lever cable is moving fully away from the 'stop' position.

Thanks for the tip you were spot on.
It was the wire connecting to the kill switch.
I would have searched for that forever.
