I have a older little wonder blower Cat#9005PD serial#8120146, its got the chrome handles. I want to put a new briggs engine on it because the old one has low compression. Its 5hp, the case is a bit rusty, I think the numbers are as follows: Model#130202 Type#0770 01 Code#81052907. I'm pretty sure they all have a 1" diameter shaft, I'm just not sure which engine to go with. Any info would help.
Thanks!

John

Whereever you purchase your engines, they will be able to cross reference from your model, type, and code

Some times it's cheaper to go with a short block, if you are mechanically inclined.

I know this post is old, but I'm Wondering if you were able to install a replacement engine. I'm Looking at the $239 one from Northern tools. I think it will work okay but I'll have to make a new way to brace the top of the shroud which used to be braced off the top of the cylinder head. The new engine I'm looking at has sworn of those angled cylinder heads.
