Thinking of getting 2024 Scag Liberty Z 52 in. deck. They don’t have Kawasaki’s on the 52. Not sure I want the SR engine or the Kohler. Is the Briggs PXi engine any good? Not too many reviews on them. Thanks.

I went ahead and got the SR engine with the 5 year warranty.
The trusty worthy folks at Ike’s in Bryan TX told me they actually see less issues with the SR engines and with the warranty it’s a no brainer for them. Said the motor is a Honda clone.
