I have an Ariens snowblower with a Briggs & Stratton motor that even though I have spark, fuel and good compression refuses to start.
I even replaced the carburetor and the magneto coil with brand new anyway. It still won't start.
I disconnected the kill switch wires also.
This thing is making me nuts!!
Ariens Deluxe 28 model number is: 9201022
Briggs model number is: 15C1 34 2143 F8
Thanks

check your flywheel key, you can have spark, but it needs to be at the right time.
the key should be a perfect square in the slot, if it's sheared any small amount it will throw ignition timing off.

It turns out it was a stuck valve that bent the rod. I freed up the stuck valve by working it with liquid wrench until it moved smoothly and straightened out the rod and replaced it.
I did a valve adjustment and assembled everything. It started right up and runs great.
