I notice the Briggs always has the most posts of all the engines brands, is it the Briggs has the most problems, or is it the 're just more Briggs out there?

I would say for residental that there are less problems % wise. There are just so many B&S's you are bound to have to work on a few. This is just my opinion.

Last track I had Briggs supplied engines to about 2/3 of the market.

That's what I figured, when I was a kid we had an old cast iron block that ran forever, then in later years I had a lawn mower with 3.5 HP Briggs, that thing used so much oil it would fog for mosquitos while I mowed.

That thing would run till it was outa of oil and lock up, let it cool, add oil and go again until it was outa oil again.

I used it for a couple of years like that and finally bought a new mower and put that one in the junkyard.
