I have a Roper model GT180ER Garden Tractor. It has a Briggs & Stratton 18 HP I/C opposed twin horizontal shaft engine with an electric clutch on the front. I am trying to find out where I can locate the engine model number. If anyone might have this information please reply. Thank You. I also have pictures, but don't know how to get them to you.

Thinking on that model they should be on the shroud little silver tag that had your numbers

Does not have any silver tags that I can see.

IF a really old engine, look for numbers stamped into cooling shroud near spark plug and on right when facing flywheel.
