I have a 10hp briggs sychro balance engine which I'm about to rebuild but I have found a slight amount of play in the eccentric cam. Is that normal or do they need to be replaced?

If it says "worn to reject" does it mean the minimum tolerances are 53.85 as it says on the table in the manual.

Also thanks for the manual it will come in handy when I adjust the valves and any other information I might need
