I have a Snapper LT 300 made by Simplicity. It has a 20 hp Vanguard twin. I cannot find any info about the carburetor which seems to have no name or model number. Having fuel problems. Does anyone know of a source for info about these carburetors?

The model, type and code from the actual engine would be a good starting point to locate information. The Vanguard engines can have that info in various locations. Could be stamped into a valve cover. Or a metal tag riveted to the blower housing and some engine have that tag located next to the oil filter.

Can you elaborate on "fuel problems"?
Pull the fuel hose AT the carb inlet. Should flow out with a purpose. If it flows nicely then tapers off......
Tank vent clogged in tank cap or fuel outlet on bottom of the tank.
