briggs auto choke won't restart after hot

I have a briggs and stratton on a 22" troy bilt mower that starts cold fine but after it gets hot and you stop it it won't restart and engine is very hot , what can i do

You must determine if there is a fire (spark) problem or fuel problem when it is hot.

Sounds like the coil is bad. Check for spark when it's hot. Preferably with a inline spark tester. It may show spark, but it could be very weak.

Pull the cover off the engine and check for dirt, grass, and leaves. Clean anything you find dirty.
