Briggs and Stratton Oil Going Down

Hello,

My problem is that the oil on my engine keeps going down yet there is no visible leak, and by the amount it is going down it should be, as well as no smoke coming out at all which I was told would happen if it was burning. Any ideas?

If 280000, 310000, or 330000 series it is a blown head gasket.

Yelp. It is a known problem with the series I listed.
