Can anybody tell me if a Briggs and stratton 900 series horizontal shaft has an adjustment for the carburetor. There is an idle screw but I am am not finding any other adjustment. Engine runs a little rough but can't find the mixture adjustment screw.
Model 1220 02 3783 B8. It is a Briggs 900 series 205 cc. Horizontal shaft.

Look on the side of the carb right next to where it connect to the engine. You will either find a screw or something that looks like a BB. Most likely you don't have an idle mixture screw.
Yep. I see a BB. I never thought I would see the day when I couldn't adjust a carb. Makes no sense to me. I appreciate the help. The motor is new with about 10 hours on it.........but out of warranty of course. I will check the valves. Thank you.

I got one better than that. I pulled a carb off of a UTV the other day because of stale fuel sitting in the carb, and has the float stuck shut. the diaphragm slide cover and the carb bowl are both riveted on. Non serviceable item. No parts available for repair even if you did get it apart. Cost of carb, $108.00.
