Another good mower that lived outside....deck and raising gear in a mess...shoddy wiring bypass work...complete mess...retirement i think for this one!

Ashes to ashes...The parts for restoration would probably hurt.

Yes...I just wouldn't stand by it unless it got a new complete deck which is very expensive (deck only = 350/400$ 48") + labor... then theres the wiring issues, batt being drained, solenoid, few safety switches, service and so on...prob looking at 1,000$ + ish:confused2:

EDIT : Correction... new deck complete = 900$... RIP :)

It looks as if someone read about salt being an excellent preservative and poured it all over the deck, not knowing it was for curing pork and making pickles and things of that nature etc.:laughing:

Give the poor old thing a nice burial.

lol...the poor machine...engine not bad tho....hoping he might not come back for it!
