Hello all new to the forum. The question I have is has anyone ever messed around with ignition timing when running on propane or natural gas? my generator has a 12 hp ohv engine and I recently converted it to run on natural gas I know the fuel ratio is correct but it really seems it could use several degrees of ignition advance. I am getting really high exhaust gas temps 900-940 degrees. has anyone ever played with the timing to get them to run more efficient?
