I am thinking about buying a core aerator for next year I spent $300 renting one this year but made close to $1000. Problem I am having is the big brands such as Ryan are very expensive and I realize it will pay for it self quickly I just want to review other options

What brands make core aerators? Self propel is a must, large roller in front is nice but not necessary.

Bluebird seems expensive for how simple they are

I bought a bluebird a little over a year ago from a lawn care company who sold out. It was two years old and looked like it was barely used. Gave the guy 500 bucks. Not had any problems with it and is a real money maker. Found it on Craigslist
