Hopefully this is the stupid questions department....

What do you folks use to pick up massive quantities of small (1 1/2" + <) sticks, twigs and branches off your lawn? I have a very large dead hickory (actually it's my neighbor's) that has dropped an unfathomable amount of twigs and branches all over my lawn, and because I've had 3 recent spine surgeries, I can't just go out and pick them up by hand, which is what I used to do a couple of years ago. So I'm hoping there is some kind of an implement or attachment I can use to help expedite or help with this job. I can post pictures if it will help.

BTW: I have a 3720 with 3rd function & rear takeoffs as well as a Simplicity Courrier and a Simplicity Prestige.

I'm not aware of anything built for this purpose.

You could use a grabber that is a few feet long and squeeze a handle that closes two fingers to pick up the dead tree limbs, so you don’t have to bend over. Other than that, it is just picking them up one after another. I have lots of branches that drop constantly.
