I just wanted to share with everyone that i found a nice used hrc216k1hxa and for those of you who have followed that i got a brand new (from 1998) honda hrc7113txa 48" tru gear walk behind. I now have 4 21" honda hrc commercial lawn mowers as they are my favorite but i do have 1 toro proline that i do like though. The walk behind is so bad *** and super smooth. I cut my lawn with it 2 x now and will cut customers lawns probably tomorrow. I now only have i think 4.2 hours on it. It leaves awsome stripes. As for the 21inch hrc216s those are my favorite mowers probably of all times. They are built like a brick **** house. I will send pictures when i can. I also have been downsizing my mower collection as I have been selling stuff on craigslist to kinda keeps things more simple but I can never pass up a good shape hrc216hxa. thanks for looking:thumbsup:

I'd love to find an HRC, but they must be as scarce as hen's teeth around here.

I see on your list you have an HR215SXA. Do you still use it? I just picked one up earlier this year and made the electric start to it making it an HR215SMA. Hope to find an HR215HXA around somewhere, but not many that I've seen with the hydrostatic transmission.

yes I let my dad use it. It is super clean but I dislike the 3 speed transmissions compared to the hydro. 3 speeds are like hr214 2 speeds, like light switches when you engage the self propelled. The hydros are super smooth. Yes you are right that hr215k1hxa hyros are kinda hard to find here but hrc216 are super super hard to find them. The only reason I got this one is that they are no longer using it and are having a company mow the grass. Every single dealer I talk to locally says that they never see hrc216s as like they bought them and moved away. Plus most people keep them because they once paid 1200 dollars for it so even if they bend a crank, they still fix them. I have 4 of them now including 2 which have never seen a blade of grass. I have sold most of my other stuff trying to downsize but i have had about every single honda just about since 1983 hr214s and newer. I am desperately looking for an origional hrc216hxa from 1989-1995. the engine looks like once on a hr215 early model but its a gxv160 not the 140. So hard to find. That will fill my hrc honda collection. I do have some toro proline 21s not going to lie, those are very good machines also with somethings i actually like better then the honda but some not as much. Still like the hondas a little better though.
