Hi all,
I’m case anybody finds this useful.
I have a Stiga Park 520P 2019 model
Engine is B&S INTEK 4185 (500cc single)

Symptom was not starting but starter turning over. I found the 3rd fuse ‘Service’ (10A) was blown and also blew any replacement fuse as the output was going to ground (<2 ohm).

In theory that fuse only really operates the Carburettor Fuel Solenoid,

…but the feed to the Fuel Solenoid goes through the Electronic Choke Control Module (located on a bracket next to the Fuel Filter) and I found that there was an internal short to a Ground within that module.

Replaced the module (£67.46 Inc postage) from Briggs Bitts (great service) and all is good now.

Choke Control Module (Inc housing) Part No. BS 597203.

New module has the label - Electronic Fuel Management
The Replacement Module and Original Module are below.

Hope this helps anybody.
