hit a stump while mowing. stalled the mower. started the mower, but blades will not engage. help.

welcome to the forum. not a whole lot of info on the mower in question there, but id start, with the engine off, seeing if the blades spin freely. could have a chunk of stump wedged in between blade and deck.
