I have a Walker that lost the gear seal on the bottom side and the gear shaft dropped out of the housing by approx 1/4". I have reseated it but to my dismay...the blades hit in the middle of the deck. I know that I have to re-clock one or the other. Is there an easy way to do this? The gearboxes are the Aluminum ones which will be the standard duty. Thanks in advance!
You set the blades to where they sit 90 degrees from each other. so if you have three blades they would look like | -- | or -- | -- been there done that and heard the clatter the first time I screwed up.

Would the easieast method of adjusting the "clocking" of the blades to the 90 deg be to pull either the right or left gearbox off the shaft and rotate until I achieve the 90 degrees? I assume there will be a spline shaft that has multiple possible positions. I have just two blades by the way....We just recently got this Walker and its a lot more complex than my Skag Turf Tiger.
That would be the easiest thing to do. It is a splined shaft with a couple and just rotate the blade until 90 to the other and then slip the boxes back together and reinstall the 4 bolts.
