Blade for Stihl FS85

#1

I

Iron Falcon 72

I need a blade that will take down up to 1"-2" brush and woody stemmed weeds? There seem to be several different types. I'd like to stay away from the chainsaw type. Any good recommendations? Thanks.

If your cutting 1"-2" brush you'll probably want the Stihl 7.9" scratcher tooth blade. It will easily take down anything in that range. You'll also have to but the kit or adapter to be able to mount the blade to your machine. Blade runs about $23.00 and the kit around $20.00 It should be the 1"diameter.

I purchase the FS 90 and 110 and it never came with mine. It's comes as accessories or attachments.

I bought a FS85R back in spring of 2000 and it came with it.

The only things that either mine came with was a manual, spark plug tool and a small wrench.

I know this is an old topic, but that blade is okay for high grass, dried grass and maybe some briars.

If you want a all around blade and will annihilate anything in its path but a tree and metal fence posts then here it is:
