bit the bullet, new Kommander

What a machine. The cadillac of mowers, to me at least. Got the bagger as well, very easy to take off, though I haven't used it yet.

I read in the manual to shut off the carburetor fuel valve after use. Is that common practice for everyone?

With today's fuels YES. Once you get use to the sticks, you'll start doing the neighbors yard. Great new unit.

Congrats man...I still love mine. Between the speed and power that this thing has saved me significant time and has made my back field look like lawn.

Mow on...

Thanks Mike. I'm pretty impressed with it. Bagger appears well built and is super easy to take off. I'll use it on the next mow to report how it operates.

Congrats!

My minor gripes:
-have to shut off gas under seat when done(how stupid)
-bagger is real small capacity and guess what, clogs pretty easy

that being said, wonderful machine.

haven't fully read the manual yet (had to mow the overgrown yard first... was like 10-12" high). I didn't see that I had to shut the valve, will do this weekend.

I love the thing, power, speed, maneuverability, looks, etc. My gripe is the slope cutting but I'm getting used to it.
