Bg72 Sthl blower broke down finally

In Sept 2012 I bought a Stihl BG 72 hand held blower from an ad on Facebook for $35. I adjusted the carb. On it and we have run it almost daily ever since. This week the pulley that the crank rope winds around cracked and the crank rope broke. I think the parts are about half what I paid for it to start with. I guess I will fix it instead of throwing it away and buying another one.

Ok so around $45 in cost for a 2 year old blower. That is the best ROI I have seen.

Parts in. Fired it up and it ran great once again. Hopefully two more years. Maybe then we will have yo put a plug on it or something.

Nice! I replace all ropes every winter wouldn't have help your pulley tho got pics?
