I have a stihl BG55 blower thats about 10 years old. Last year I replaced the carburetor, the spark plug, the fuel filter, and the air filter. When I went to use it it ran beautifully wide open but would not idle. It was the end of the season so I left it. I got it out this week and again it would crank right up, ran wide open with no problems whatsoever. As soon as you let off the throttle it would cut off. I have removed the spark arrestor and the fuel filter, it ran fine, I cleaned them and put them back on and it ran fine, and made thousands of adjustments on the idle screw (with the limit things taken off of all 3 screws) and nothing works. I was actually surprised at how clean the spark arrestor was being its never been taken out and cleaned before. Any suggestions? I can use it as long as I keep the throttle wide open but it gets aggravating for obvious reasons.
