I have had a Honda HRX (GCV190) for the past 11 years and its been great. Relatively quiet, fast, and mulches great.
It still works but I fear the rear transmission might be nearing the end. I could have it repaired but heard that it could be very expensive to fix ($100s) and don't know if it makes to invest that into a 10 year old lawn mower.
I was wondering if anyone has come across an electric mower with those same features (quiet (assume most have this), fast, and mulches great).
I have no idea about electric mulching mowers, but in my opinion sticking money into that unit would not be a bad idea, unless you are seeing a problem with the engine. You have a quality unit worth a little TLC.
