Back in the good old days we used the horn on a car to load test the battery . I guess the horn draws alot of amps . Is it possible on a lawn tractor to use the head lights as a load test ?
A cheap 100 Amp battery load tester works best. They are available online from Ebay or at a local Harbor Freight.
A headlamp is best to load test a 20 Amp circuit wire when troubleshooting, but questionable when testing a battery. How bright the bulb light is not a measurable test. it is a "rough guess" at best.
