Hi,,im new the site,, i have question.i have a TROYBUILT BRONCO mower with the DREADED COURAGE KOHLER MOTOR.i bought the bagger unit for the mower and i put on new heavy duty mulching blades(the big heavy duty yellow blades-very sharp).this mower wont bag grass worth a !@#$%^&*!!!!.is my prob from maybe a bad deck design or the wrong type of blades for bagging with this mower.i mow about every 3 to 5 days to keep my yard nice looking, the grass is never really tall.ive read nothing but BAD reveiws on the Kohler motor so i change the oil 2x a yr wether(with filter) it needs it or not,,hoping to maybe get atleast 5 yrs out of this mower.i just wish the bagger would take the grass from the deck without having to stop and unclog the bagger tube every 20 mins.
THANKS,,,John66.

Wrong Blades. Mulching blades are designed to mulch grass which means it keeps the grass under the deck to be cut a number of times, not discharge it into a grass catcher.

Hello John66. Welcome to LawnWorld.com.

We moved your thread to the Mower & Equipment Operation forum.

Sorry to hear about your mower. That sounds like such a hassle.

But maybe you can tweak some things to get it working properly. The guys here are really helpful. Best of luck.
