bades won't engage after stalling it out ona stump

ran over a stump, stalled the mower . restarted just fine, blades will not engage, checked fuse their fine. ???

Check pto clutch wiring and harness plug making sure it's still plugged together, also check to make sure part of stump is not wedged under deck, wile you at it take a look at topside of deck, belts, pulley's, etc.

I also suggest to check the blades themselves. Make sure they spin and the pulleys r moving with them.
