This sounds like the PTO clutch coil is shorted OR the wiring at the coil is shorted to ground... Do you have an ohm meter?

I can borrow an ohm meter, can you provide some quick instruction or is there a youtube video of it, I ll search in the meantime. Also, if the clutch is fried I guess where in for another 2-300$ based on what some internet searches have shown up??

Ok

Testing the switch of the clutch revealed ohms of 2.2-2.5. The harness that plugs into the clutch wouldn't read any ohms. Not sure if that matters. Thanks

Sounds like a safety switch to me.

Thanks for all the help. Ended being the pto engage switch. Took a little longer to receive it related to the ice storm last week. Runs great and performs well

Thanks again
